The GHS deadline has passed! Are you ready?

The Hazard Communication Answer Book covers the newly revised Hazard Communication Standard, also known as HazCom, HCS, 29 CFR 1910.1200 and Right to Know.

OSHA has aligned with the Globally Harmonized System (GHS), a global hazard communication system that standardizes the classification of chemicals and the communication of hazards via labels and SDS sheets.

All employers with hazardous chemicals in their workplaces must prepare and implement a written hazard communication program, and must ensure that all containers are labeled, employees are provided access to SDSs, and an effective training program is conducted for all potentially exposed employees.
