The Respiratory Protection Program follows the latest requirements for providing workers with personal protective equipment against exposure to hazardous and toxic airborne contaminants. This program is designed to provide information and instruction upon the proper use, care, inspection, cleaning, repair, and storage of respirators.   It is to be implemented with OSHA standard 29 CFR §1910.139 (respiratory protection). This written program satisfies the OSHA requirement that employers must adopt written standard operating procedures governing the selection and use of respirators.
