The OSHA standard contains safety requirements relating to fire protection, design, maintenance, use, and operator training for industrial powered trucks. Industrial powered trucks include forklifts, tractors, platform lift trucks, motorized hand trucks, and other specialized industrial trucks. Powered industrial trucks are used to carry, push, pull, lift, stack or tier material.
